I spotted another blog entitled Jewish Preppers and I was a little disappointed that someone had beat me to it. :-) I wanted to express some of ideas about preparing for emergencies and to respond to various ideas I see around the net... mostly expressed by Christians.
I am an Orthodox Jew.
I do not begrudge non-Jews their own views and I don't mind reading through them, but it came to mind that many of my fellow Jews find Christian rhetorical flourishes a little irksome. I hope to provide something a little more palatable for Jews and provide a forum for me to respond to issues I find regarding preparation and survival in TEOTWAWKI (that means... well... I'll tell you later. :-)).
The point is that often I want to respond to a posting a Christian might make and then realize MY issue is not THEIR issue. Honestly, in a Jewish context a Christian does not need to deal with Jewish issues. It is difficult enough for them to deal with their own issues without having to worry about mine.
So... I'll deal with my own issues.
Hopefully you will help me.
